My name is Kanya Murray, and I have a decade of experience as a stylist. While my focus is on women's coloring and long hair, I also excel at fades. I proudly graduated from the renowned Pat Goins Beauty School in Ruston, LA. Establishing my presence in Monroe, I own "Hair We Go" salon in Pecanland mall and have recently launched our latest venture, "Bayou Barber Salon."
JIMMY TURNER (AKA KING OF WALK-INS)
Born and raised in Bastrop, Louisiana, I have decided to continue my career in Monroe, LA. I have made a home here at Bayou Barber Salon, bringing my 35 years of experience with me. Specializing in all types of men’s hair, whether it's short, long, curly, or straight, rest assured that I've got you covered with top-notch skills and service.
TAVARIUS REED
I am currently living in Rayville, Louisiana, but working in Monroe at Bayou Barber Salon where I have found my true passion in cutting hair. With two decades of experience under my belt, I pride myself on delivering exceptional work. Over the past three years, I have honed my skills in the barber shop environment, specializing in precision fades. My dedication to my craft is matched only by my humility and reliability. Having graduated from Rayville High School, Grambling University, and Cloyd's Barber School, I am committed to serving my community with the utmost professionalism and skill.
VINNY “VEGAS” ANDERSON
Venson Anderson, widely known as Vinny Vegas in the barbering community, boasts a wealth of expertise and holds a valid master barber license, with an impressive track record exceeding three decades in the field. Hailing from the charming town of Mer Rouge, Louisiana, Vinny currently caters to a loyal clientele at Bayou Barber Salon in Monroe, LA. Over the years, he has meticulously honed his craft and earned a stellar reputation for his unparalleled skills and unwavering commitment to excellence in customer care. AMBER MCKNIGHT
My name is Amber McKnight, and I have dedicated the last 20 years to the hair salon industry. My journey began with Aveda L'Oréal, where I honed my skills in chemical treatments. I am also highly skilled in scissor cutting and crafting men's fades. My areas of specialization include curly hair, texture, coloring, and blowouts.
